The Land of LooksWithin is the Western region of Symbolia. It's a place that symbolizes Fall, self-reflection, soul searching and inner vision. After crossing the River of Lyf, the children step foot in the Land of LooksWithin. It includes Shadow's Underground Maze, the Deep Depression & more.

Digger is a young, passionate girl who lives with her family, the McBummers, down in the Deep Depression. Everyone there is sad, but she has hope and so continues her grandfather's search for Shadow's "Gold of Self-Understanding".

Knot Gud E. Nuff is a young girl who was called many names and bullied around so much that one day, she started to belive it was all true... She hid down in Shadow's Underground Maze and eventually, lost touch of who she truly was.
